First, open the Internet Explorer web browser.
Second, once Internet Explorer is open, press the CTRL key at the same time as the letter "o" (CTRL-o) to bring up the "Open" dialog box.
In the dialog box, enter in the location of your rsync.net filesystem:
https://usw-s017.rsync.net/
(note that the trailing / at the end IS necessary)
Ensure that the checkbox labeled "Open as Web Folder" is checked, and then click the "OK" button.
Third, enter your rsync.net username and password into the authentication dialog box that appears. After entering your rsync.net username and password, click the "OK" button.
Your rsync.net filesystem is now mounted, and you will see your files in Internet Explorer. You may interact with your files and directories just as you would with any other files or
directories on your system.
NOTE: if for any reason you prefer to use unencrypted WebDAV, over the normal HTTP port 80, you may do so, however you must add a '#' sign to the end of the URL above:
http://usw-s017.rsync.net/#
as you type it into the "Open" dialog box in Internet Explorer. We do not recommend using unencrypted transports like this.
First, open your "My Computer" folder and open the "Web Folders" icon:
Second, double-click the item labeled "Add Web Folder":
Third, in the "Add Web Folder" dialog box that appears, type in the URL for your rsync.net filesystem:
(The URL you enter should be in the form: https://usw-s017.rsync.net/ )
Finally, after entering the location of your rsync.net filesystem, you will be presented with a dialog box for entering your username and password. Do so, and click the "OK" button.
You will then be prompted to enter a name for the web folder you have just created. You can leave it at the default, or change it if you wish. Simple click on the "Finish" button.
You may now interact with your files and directories just as you would with any other files or directories on your system.
First, double-click the "My Network Places" icon on your desktop.
Second, in the resulting "My Network Places" window, double-click the "Add Network Place" icon.
Third, in the dialog box that appears, enter the URL of your rsync.net filesystem, in the form:
https://usw-s017.rsync.net/
After entering the URL, click the "Next" button. A dialog box will appear asking for your username and password. Enter both, and click "OK".
You will then be prompted to enter a name for the web folder you have just created. You can leave it at the default, or change it if you wish. Simple click on the "Finish" button.
You may now interact with your files and directories just as you would with any other files or directories on your system.
